The Beverly Hilton Hotel

The Beverly Hilton Hotel, opened by Conrad Hilton in 1955 on the famous corner of Wilshire Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard is, in their own words, a 'beacon of modern luxury'. It has long been known as the place to stay for the movers and shakers of the country when visiting Beverly Hills, and has been the political 'vacation hub' for presidents from John F. Kennedy to Richard Nixon to Bill Clinton... and including non-presidential politicians and celebrities alike, from Arnold Schwartzenegger to Howard Hughes. Most such distinguished guests stay in the series of special penthouse suites, and usually the magnificent Presidential Suite or the Governor's Suite.

Continuing its appeal to those who are active, involved, and in the know, the Beverly Hilton Hotel caters to dozens, even hundreds, of prominent events each year, and boasts over 175 red carpet events yearly. They estimate they have hosted more than ten thousand events since their opening. You may have seen some of them on TV without knowing they were being held in this hotel. One of the most famous events, the Golden Globe Awards, is held here.

It's the place to 'see and be seen', and practically every star has stayed there more than once. For star-sightings, pound for pound this is the hotel to stay in this city. At any time some current hot stars may be seen there, as well as the occasional visiting legend, and you can ask staff for any information they might have about which rooms your favorite stars have stayed in, including such huge personages as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Milton Berle, Dean Martin, Steve McQueen, to name a few out of the thousands.

The Beverly Hills Hotel has 570 rooms, including 101 private suites, special penthouse suites and exotic rooms, and each room features a view of Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, and Century City. Each room contains all the expected features and items you'll ever want, and many many extras you'll appreciate, such as a 42 inch HDTV, multiple phones including a cordless, in-room safes, high quality Penhaligon bath products, and many rooms feature new spa-bathrooms and other unusual additions. A series of rooms known as the 'Penthouse Collection' are truly sublime and include all the luxuries you can imagine, and a few more.

As you'd expect, the Beverly Hilton Hotel also includes every other amenity you could ask for. They have all kinds of packages for different travellers, they share the neighborhood with Beverly Hills' most famous shops and restaurants, and inside the hotel you'll find such wonderful spots as the 'Circa 55' restaurant with its '50's chic styling and view of the pool and palm trees. You'll also find a full spa, lounge, and famous shops. To be completely overwhelmed by history, beauty, luxury, and the Hollywood star experience, you have only to book a room in this historic and outstanding, completely modern and luxurious hotel.
