The Avalon Hotel From Beverly Hills Hotels Take you back  in time, I feel like 1950 is Hollywood Starlet. Although it is a small boutique hotel,  it was quite elegant. A true oasis nestled in Beverly Hills. A good hotel for those who want a break from the noise and crowded big city. . Very convenient location to the main road, go for it just five minutes Almost homelike atmosphere, great food, great location - out and the ocean, the staff helpful, always ready to help and bring-buy all that is required. Special thanks to Roy - warm people, takes care of every guest and all is an individual approach. ust returned from this hotel.. In general, the hotel is excellent. Location  on the first line. Staff superb. The room was gorgeous. Food is very good. As regards the railway, it is still closed and will not go until March. And even if it will go then bear in mind that the trains slowly go out there and therefore the noise level is minimal. The host hotel for every guest is looking for an individual approach. In general terms of price quality of the hotel is excellent.

Although my stay was short i really enjoyed it and i felt like a movie star from the 50’s like Merylin Monro at one of those fansy Beverly Hills Hotels .I stayed for one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are a lover than a century aesthetic of mid-design, then this is the place to stay. The hotel itself is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood and is just a short taxi ride to some of the hottest places like West Hollywood that was a trip of $ 16 taxi.My parents were staying at the Hotel for 4 nights and then I came to stay for one because I was in town for business. When I arrived, the entrance  guy was an awesome first impression. He knew that my parents by name and I was expecting my arrival. He was very happy to see me, I was very well received, took care of my luggage and gave us an exceptional first impression. The check in was very quick and easy and friendly staff to deal with lui.J 'I was very excited to stay at this hotel because I really love this kind of informality period style. I love the fact that he was kept in its original style with original features in perfect condition. I suggest that if you expect an exuberant brand new hotel, it is perhaps not for you. It's mid-century cool. My room did not disappoint. It was spotless and well sized. The bathroom was spotless ... not a hint of mold or a smudged tiling / mirror to be seen! The cleaning staff do a good thorough cleaning and work here. My only fault, an iron and board Permeable poor repasser.We had drinks at the bar and dine in the restaurant. I thought it was a great experience at the Avalon Hotel . The staff is very attentive and were very accommodating with our desire to get out of a cabin for drinks from the inside, and then return to the dining room for meals. My parents had dinner at the restaurant before and spoke very strongly. I thought the food was lovely. Regarding the cost, the three of us had several drinks each (including beer and spirits), and 3 courses for dinner and the bill came to about $ 220 ... The kitchen is Italian inspired and was very nice. The atmosphere was also very nice. Our  departur experience was also very fast and easy and the staff took care of my luggage while I went down the road to Urth cafe for some brunch. They were also happy to print the route for me when I left because my car was missing a GPS! The century throughout the hotel is relaxed and has a quality mid-cool, it seems to be popular as a place for drinks / dining room for residents.

Like in 50s

I read the previous reviews and i dont understand why people focus on such small and not important things , when you go on holiday you dont metter if the Tv is old or new .My Review about Avalon Hotel is all  the best for this hotel  not like others Beverly Hills Hotels.

Perfect for me, the furniture of the 50s that I love, shades of green water, which evoke the turquoise California at the time, a "patio life" as we see in Hollywood movies.
This former hotel frequented by the time Marilyn Monroe has been completely redesigned by designer Kelly Wearstler, who exhibits his beautiful statues in the lobby, in a style reinvented west coast .... and everything is perfect!
Beautiful patio with its freeform lagoon pool, towels available, we have dinner in the evening by the poolside, world food quite sought after, beautiful local and international clientele.
The rooms are spacious, king size bed mega, beautiful furniture.
In short I highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially as the staff, as often in the States, is enough for you.
Already benefit from the fact that a valet parking takes care to go and search your car at any time of day or night is a highly significant, the rest we take the usual fast, because all restaurants in town do the same ...

Everything except the noise was ok

I ve been with my nephew these weekend in LA and we  look for a hotel in the Rodeo Drive Boulevard.This Beverly Hills Hotels  -  Avalon Hotel has a lot of charm. It feels like from the 50s to, without coming down here and everything is centrally located around the swimming pool - here one can relax well after a long day in the hustle and bustle of LA.
The customer service is excellent and the food and the drinks are pretty good. But with the sound insulation in some of the rooms on the other side of the road there are a few difficulties. For some strange reason, the doors close down not from the floor, the gap is about 2 inches high and as you can hear the other guests walk in the corridors around and chat. This is true even if you have a room with a connecting door. This will hopefully be resolved soon, it seems to be aware of the problem. I would recommend this hotel - just make sure that you ask for a quiet room.

Just Ok

I have been to many of Beverly Hills  hotels in that area and this was the first time i stay at Avalon and my opinion  about this hotel is the folowing:

For a small boutique hotel is a great find. The staff were wonderful and the hotel is close to everything in Beverly Hills and Hollywood. It is the Rodeo Drive within walking distance, it goes quite a bit. Near the hotel are plenty of great restaurants, the hotel also has its own restaurant, where we have not eaten since we were already scheduled for other purposes.

The bartender makes a great mojito and the audience is very young and hip, unfortunately I'm too old for a bit but it was still nice as this, the atmosphere was good. The concierges were wonderful and always there. They always greeted and knew the names of the guests. My wife thought it was great that here at the Hotel Penn of Penn & Teller arrived and was also very nice, I wanted to bother him, however. I will stay here again when I'm next in LA and I can only recommend the hotel.

Enjoy your stay here

The rooms are okay. Almost great, but you could improve some things. I discovered to my surprise, that there still are the old TV. The phones are old and the reception is poor and the prices are crazy. But who bothers already, I never look away when I'm on the road and never use The Bevely Hills Hotels phone.

The beds and pillows were great. To wake up: there is an ipod alarm clock, a good wake up call and then you can also call or leave, to be on the safe side. The food is excellent eating organically grown and it is beautiful - and the price is normal for such a place.

I must repeat myself: the staff are just great and really care about you. Enjoy your stay here. I can definitely recommend it .

VERY CLEAN

Although I know with my wife the best hotels in the world and we can in terms of which have very high standards, I recommend the Avalon in Beverly Hills Hotels at any time. On arrival we were greeted super friendly, the staff at the desk is very knowledgeable and very courteous, they also take care of their own affairs and do free phone calls and reservations for parks such as film, etc. The cleaning staff does a great job and are also very friendly, not too pushy, if you stay in your room, then move it to clean later on without any problems.

The bed, which is always one of the most important aspects of such a trip is displayed, is also considered VERY CLEAN, which looks extremly hygienic bedding, the bed is under the mattress and the slats very clean. This creates a never averse view. The bathroom is very small but I must not stay in there so well, and for daily showering and washing, it is sufficient. Towels are changed daily, the bathroom is after the cleaning process even more sparkling.

All together it's a really great hotel

The location of Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels is for the whole stay very pleasant. " Although the Olimpic Blvd. It is very quiet and can be reached as the Rodeo Drive walk in about 10 minutes. Shopping centers for food and gas stations are within 5 minutes. Generally, one should not have a car that can be procured by the hotel staff. You have to pay for parking, but the guys can talk with them.

WiFi / Wireless LAN can also book it is also not very expensive, for us it did not work properly, but for our purposes it was sufficient.

The pool and pool area were very clean, no dirt, and every now and then gone off in the pool area is also a party. Stars or VIPs is not seen here also, as described in some brochures.

All together it's a really great hotel, and here I would have to go no more concern to me for a few days to feel good, do not miss anything.

The breakfast and the map did not correspond to what I like to eat, so I can not necessarily give it a review. There it is, and also visually everything looked delicious.

Totally Disaster , Will not go there even if is free

This was our second  stay in a boutique hotel at one of  Beverly Hills Hotels. We chose the Avalon on the Meridian and W. staff at the reception was great because they were extremely accommodating and helpful and friendly.
The first time we were here everthing was fine and in order but the last time  , happened something that suprised us in very abd way.. My wife and I had a private conversations with another customer at the bar and bar-Heard posted on our conversation and because he  have different political views because He have decided not to serve us for the rest of the evening. I have never been treated like that in my life! I was not aware that the waitress can make a personal decision not to serve you from conversations that does not mix friends with anyone! We talked to the head (brand) that was very rude and disrespectful! I told him we were staying at the hotel and it does not treat a client. He told us that if we did not like to go! Therein. I asked the front desk to find a room at the W or the Méridien. unfortunently, they were both booked for the evening.

We talked to the manager who apologized for uncouthnes the bar manager. 800 for a hotel bill, we were offered a credit of $ 60 and have called for do not hesitate to return to the hotel.

Our second (and last night), so we had to go back to the hotel by 10:30. We really wanted to go and sit at the bar, however, were extremely well received practically nothing and decided not to spend another dollar. It was very disappointing!

There are plenty of large hotels with great bars and restaurants in Beverly Hills that I will spend a cent in the next time!

Stunning Place

I stayed at the Avalon 2 weeks ago in my first time. I travel a lot for work, and I've never satisfied with the hotel! Avalon beat my record of horrible hotel in Los Angeles stops. From the reception staff administrators, I was so happy. From the incredible, stunning modern design blue on blue restaurant in the beautiful rooms ... we liked it Of course, I'm a fan of mid-century theme in different places, but this is not a motel in an alley and there are some nice places antique furniture. Our room was small and looked like a hospital, we had to go through an alley to get there and we parked God knows where! Our room had a view of the alley where a group of men gather with loved completely.! I want to return to the private dining lodge pool. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very polite! This will be my new home in Los Angeles!

Highly recomended

My wife , 10-year-old daughter  and I stayed at the Avalon for a weekend away from San Diego for Thanksgiving break. The hotel is modest on the outside, but fun throughout the interior, with a seductive, bustling lobby with a view of the fully repaired retro pool with a poolside dinner. Our room was in a building separate from the main hotel, which was fine because it was a very quiet room at night. The room was a cool way - great atmosphere, design, color (green and tranquil blues), with excellent bed sheets, pillows, etc. The bathroom was tiny, but cleverly designed. Room service was excellent, as the restaurant. They gave us a table lodge, and the food was some of the best we had on this trip to LA. Service was professional throughout, and despite a little "too cool for you" environment, the staff was not snobbish or arrogant voobsche.Ya not mind staying here again.

Unforgetable
I will always remember Avalon Hotel and i will  explain why.
My boyfriend sugest to me to go on runaway weekend in La beverly Hils Hotels to relax a bit.
He has booked a room in Avalon.
We arived everyone were nice our room was cute i like the enteriour the people were nice and all, the food was nice and all.
The room was clean always  the clean lady was like a ghost we left  the room a mess we come back in 5 minutes the room is clean .But the highlight was the folowing .
My boyfriend was planing to propose to me and he want it to do on a clasic romantic way , so he agree with the menager to arange our room in romantic way so he can propose , but the menager was creative enough to give my now fiance a better idea .
The last day after sightseeing my bf suggest to go to the pool Area .When we aproach to the pool are he said that he forgot something in the room and that he will be back so i went by my self and went i arived I was amazing there were candles around the pool everywhere and in the pool there were lotus flowers (my favorite)  there was a table with  champaing and  diner and they hired a violinist which was playing our song.
I didnt know what to do so i sit down on  the chair and in my plate was a  box  then my boyfriend arived and proposed to me.So the menager of the hotel make my trip here unforgetable and he arange the whole pool and everything an because we just get engaged we got bonus stay weekend and we are planing that to be on our honeymooon.What can i say .I will never forget this hotel and the people which were so carefull that everything will go ok. Recomended

I like the Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels , its design - everything. Food in the blue on blue is excellent. I read about it in GQ magazine and knew that I had to check it out. I think my favorite - lucite chairs in the lobby.

Avalon is fabulous! I stayed here recently during a business trip. The hotel and the staff is great ... very accommodating and responsive to customer needs. I dined at the restaurant Blue blue in the hotel. I recommend Avalon and Blue on Blue to anyone traveling to Los Angeles!I stayed at the Avalon this past June and was pleasantly surprised at how nice and the hotel and the staff were. Style - very minimalist and sleek, but it was quite convenient, however. Cafes around the pool was very good, and rooms with their own stereo system and a balcony were good supplemental services in addition to the hotel stay as well. They really kill you with a hefty fee for parking the car, but apart from that, it was pretty good. I would not recommend it for families, but it's perfect for couples or someone in Los Angeles on business.

Anoyingly nice staff

Me and my girlfriends decide to have runaway weekend in LA.We are from NY and we decide to  have some fun on California , Beverly Hills Hotels  , my friend booked  two rooms in Avalon , we choose Avalon because i read somewhere that si boutique hotel.So i am not that big fan of the 50’s enterior is kind of  out of style and the room was decorating in boring style.The staf is so polite which sometimes gets anoying , they are everywhere around you asking do you need somethin? Everthing ok? Do you like the food ? Ok i get it you are nice .the location is great  because is close to the Rodeo Drive Blvd.The receptionist was polite and give us tips when we can go out and have some fun ,  although the barman from the loby was so hot i didnt want to go anywhere.So all in all we have pleasent stay there .The food is similar like  in all hotels, but i have to give a acent to the coffee they made a magnificient coffee i never had such great coffee.So bottom line , if you want to have a pleasant stay dont think twice , Avalon is cute and not so expencive hotel .Just avoid the anoyingly nice guys breathing in your neck to   make sure that everything is ok

Cute and hip

I recently stayed there for one night, my husband and his colleague stayed there for three nights. You do not deflate appearance, lobby or hallways in the open air in your room. However, I thought the rooms were excellent. They included the present situation and were very spacious. I stayed at No. 216, and it was a bit noisy in the morning because it was on the loading dock. However, because the hotel is located in a residential area is one of the best Beverly Hills Hotels, it was very quiet at night. Service was impeccable, especially the manager to work with the guests (also patrolled by the administrators at the reception) and parking. I would not recommend this hotel for families or anyone who likes a more traditional and elegant environment. Just to give you a general idea, and my husband and his colleagues said they felt very "metrosexual" stayed in the hotel .. . definitely cool and hip.

GREAT  HOTEL

I really liked this hotel! It was a great atmosphere. The staff was kind and friendly. Our lovely room - it was high quality and well-decorated really comfortable bed and a good balcony, which came out of the pool. I especially enjoyed the brunch at the pool houses.The food was so delicious and tasty that make ask the waiteres to give me the recipe and for my big suprice the suchief of the kitchen write her down the reciepe on paper to give it to me , i was so touched.We had a room with great view and everything was  going smoothly , specially i enjoed that the hotel them is made like in 50s so  i am really big fan of this kind of desing  , i really was sad when we leave the hotel, because everything was perfect , we even make friends with the receptions , he was kind enough to  give us tips for good resturant , place to visit, we take a photo with him and we post it on facebook. Because we really liked this guy , every morning he was  prepare to tell us some funny joke and really made our stay  great.

 I'll come back to this Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels again!

Cool Hotel

I stayed there just last month for the first time. Incredibly cool hotel but without the attitude of hip hotels tend to have sometimes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the dining huts at night in the pool, spent most of my time there. The rooms are spacious with large beds and large ...I had my birthday at Blue on Blue. Too funny! Drinks are attentive service. The layout of the rooms is so different from other hotels I have ever seen. And the reception is so nice! I really recommend the Avalon to my friends.Its close to Rodeo Drive Blvd 15 min walk and you can  go to shoping everytime you want is cool hotel i dont understand the bad reviews about Avalon beverly hills hotels .

Never Again

My boyfriend and I spent our first day at the hotel bar on Christmas Eve and we are a year to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with a romantic weekend. Before setting foot in the hotel, we were rejected by management since we do not have the  reservatuions as hotel guests. It was only two, wishing to spend a romantic evening reminiscing. And I have never had a bad experience at the hotel before until I stayed at the Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels .. He did not bother to keep us updated during the hours when the condition number, or how much longer it will be. We finally made their way to the room and waited for our property to come from the messenger. 15 minutes later we decided to call reception to make sure that they did not forget about our material - they have done. They promised him immediately, and 10 minutes later it showed up to our room on the second level. It was obvious we were not there to party and do horrible. It was a big disappointment. There was also a very sad situation. The manager was completely insensitive and seemed to care that it totally ruined our wedding anniversary.
I will never come back to this hotel.We are called to the ice a couple of times and the guy who brought it, it was terrible. The room was very small, the bathroom was too close to the bed. We had to continue to call reception because the cable connection with our computer will not work, and they continued to say that they will call us with the instructions - they never did. Overall, the hotel was good looking, but the staff made it ugly. I hated the Avalon and will never stay there again.

Super Cute Hotel

This hotel is super cute, has a Molton Brown products, the way of friendly staff and great location. I stopped it for a girls weekend, and they really know how to treat us - even gave us a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate the birthday of our friend. This is - a luxurious Beverly Hills hotel , and I felt it kick. One downside would be the fact that our room had a great smell of a cigarette, even though he said that it was no smoking. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly, which was of great value! Beautiful pool houses, and a restaurant. Standard Room Queen's fairly small, but clean, a little used furniture (TV stand, stand the bathroom), but overall not bad. There is also a parking fee to the delivery vehicle at the appointed place in the $ 26 / night.

Perfect

My girfriends and i  'and I stayed at Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels during the second half of Jun 2010. From the moment we set foot in the door, the service was fantastic and more importantly not 'excessive'. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with very nice rooms and excellent beds / toilets.And based of the fact that is boutique hotel we have the chance to shop a lot so it was all perfect.

The staff was happy to help and was not pushy at all. It was a real service .... relaxed, positive and sincere. Restaurant beside the pool was also excellent with high quality food and service. Trying to think of any negatives associated with the rest ..... it's awful picky, but a small continental breakfast each morning, would be a welcome addition. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any travelers within the LA, especially considering the price, location, and maintenance compared to some dull hotel in the center or in Hollywood.

Awful

I travel A LOT In Bevely Hills Hotels !And i ve been to many hotels but this was the worst that i ever have been,The wals are thin and i heard ever little noise from the other rooms.

Every step that made people above us sounded like he came through the ceiling, and my dog ​​will bark. The middle of the night, he gets up for a drink of water, and my dog ​​starts barking, thinking that invade the house (it is not rude, either). A complete nightmare. On the positive moments, after a complaint for the second time in the middle of the night, the staff was courteous enough to send us their subsidiary Hotel Chamberlain. And, despite my very unpleasant behavior (I did not raise his voice, but I agreed to be upset), the staff was very professional about solving the problem. They even called the next day to make sure that my room was acceptable Chamberlain (who was). Great Location and friendly staf

This  hotel offers many great things and some not so great things. The staff are really nice and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. There can be nice or meet with friends. The rooms are average, which is mainly because they are run down. The bathrooms are ugly and the lighting is poor. I arrived during the day and the room was bright but that was not necessarily an advantage. It looks better when the lights are dim. One sees not so many of the worn areas.

The best thing about the Avalon Beverly Hills hotels is its location. It was as central as we had hoped.

We would always go back the hotel is very clean, staff helpful and very nice. Bus stops are nearby, so you may well also be one or the other by bus, eg the Ghetty Center.

Good Hotel

The style is very minimalist and elegant, but comfortable enough anyway

I booked a room in Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels for a two-week stay in a while there on business. I bring not only my significant other (she works with me), but our dog. We were given a studio of the Canon, which it turns out, is actually located in a small apartment complex across the street from the main hotel. We were told that it was 500 square feet. It was not even close to true, even if you added a patio and a bathroom and toilets, and whatever. This is - at most 300 feet. It really was a kitchenette with small refrigerator, sink and microwave. Furnishings - Art Deco, which ran on, / LA. But this was not the biggest problem. Canon building, at least, is the old house in the early 20th century and, as one would expect from such humble beginnings, this was the worst normal inspection of any hotel I've ever stayed.

. The pool was very nice and the rooms with their own balcony and stereo were extras. They did not bang with Zap extra to park your car, but otherwise, it was pretty good. I do not recommend it for families, but it is perfect for a couple or a member of Los Angeles on business.

Good Hotel Bad Location

I stayed at the Avalon 1 week for the first time. I travel a lot and I'm never satisfied! Avalon broke the horrible record of Los Angeles remains long.Everything was so nice  i was  positivly suprisied. From reception to housekeeping I was so happy with our stay. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very courteous! This will be my new home to L. A.! Lovely little hotel - large rooms, friendly service. Beautiful pool. My only negative would be the location, which is about a 15 minute walk to Rodeo Drive. But there's really no bars or restaurants to close. So, as I enjoyed my trip to Avalon, I think I came back to LA, For Beverly Hills Hotels I would have taken the decision to stay in SUNSET BOULEVARD, in the Standard or Mondrian simply because of the location. However, if Beverly Hills - is where you want to be when you need to stay in this magnificent hotel.

Amazing

My wifeand  I  stayed at the hotel for one day short vacation from our normal routines La. I have been working around the hotel and thought it would be interesting to dwell there for a night with my husband and be a tourist in our own city. We got a room that was across the street and not in the main building, the Hotel Avalon , Beverly Hills Hotels . They said they were sorry, but I was impressed when I ordered it, we'll stop at the main door to our hotel for the supervision of the pool.

Avalon - definitely an excellent hotel ... the staff knew my name after the first day and used it everywhere. A nice feature. Rooms - small and furnished by IKEA ... of my assumptions. The location - a few blocks from Rodeo Drive ... which is excellent. Parking, delivery vehicle at the appointed place is $ 30 per day ... so keep that in mind. They have a house in the pool for free, and good-looking Italian restaurant, we did not get to use as yet. I would have stayed here again if needed.

Really Disappointed!

I was really excited to stay at Avalon because I read all the good reviews on internet and I booked online. When me and my boyfriend arrived it was late at night we were tired from the long drive trip and the care man  was too busy talking with some other guest and did not offer to help us with the  luggage , so we have to drag our luggage by our self , then we wait on the reception for half an hour although we have reservation , it was depressing , I was so pissed out .I only liked the interior its 50’s theme .The room was very small and the furniture was old , I was really disappointed I expected more .The staff  and the room service was pleasant and polite but  , when I call the reception to order more blankets  , the receptionist said ok it will be in your room for one second and nobody came. So I will give a bad review about this hotel.Dont be blinded and fooled from the good reviews. It’s far away from Rodeo Drive and also the food is disqauisting I found I hair in my food. SO AWFUL. It has bad and good sides

If you - a lover of the aesthetic design of mid-century, it is - a place to rest.I stayed here for one  week and totally enjoyed the experience. The hotel itself is situated in a good quiet area and is only a short taxi ride to some popular vacation spots like West Hollywood, Avalon  Beverly Hills Hotels transports you back in time.The staff were very profesional but most of all very friendly and warm , they talk to me about the weather and the miscelanious things , they make my stay there more pleasent  , asked me about my country and stuff like that.I found the the food tasty but its like in every hotel no inopvation with the food , i am only impresed of one tastefull diner that i had.I can aslo complain about the noise there were some teenagers and i could not sleep , i think that menager should trough them away but they were partying all night long and nobody do nothing about that.Except that i will return here positivley.

Its Amazing but very expensive experience

I am a bit sceptic when is  in question staying in a, and I try to research thoroughly. , Which I always found the reviews to very helpful, I thought I would have liked to publish a Avallon. I recently I went there one night, my husband and his colleague spent three nights here at Beverly Hills Hotels. You will not be excited outside the hotel lobby or outside lanes in your room. However, I thought the rooms were great. included modern furnishings and very spacious. I was in room 206, and it was a bit noisy in the morning because it is on a delivery. Anyway, the hotel is in a residential area, it was very quiet at night. The service was impeccable, especially the concierge (again, the reception staff) and the valet brings you your car. I would not recommend this hotel to families or those who want a more traditional and all soft. to give you an idea, I loved it! It a fantastic atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our amazing room - it is high quality and well decorated and very comfortable bed and a nice balcony overlooking the pool. I especially liked luncheon in huts pool. I will stay again for sure!

Retro-modern experience

I Have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Avalon hotel with my Girlfriend. I can not say enough about the service, atmosphere and the room. We were in the "quiet" separate wing of the hotel. The room was large, the sheets were like butter and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly so we made ​​a huge difference! The pool is very nice with cabanas, and the restaurant. We ordered room service ... I can only recommend the warm chocolate chip cookies and milk. The porter took us two free CD's to take home, we had forgotten our home. The location is near shopping on Robertson, Rodeo Drive and Melrose Avenue, but it is in a quiet residential area. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a step back to a glamorous era. As my girlfriend  says the hotel is a retro-modern experience. I would highly recommend and I will go this hotel again the next time I go to LA. I think this hotel would be great for a "  romantic  weekend " because there is a great restaurant bar swimming distance sacred place in the evening. This is a very  retro and classy. Beverly Hills hotels .

CHARM OF THE 50’S

The hotel offers an atmosphere of a few bars of Sinatraod  50s.I really like the 50s theme and i was feeling like in any second i will see some star from the 50s in one of the Bevely Hills Hotels /

I found the service the best part of - the hotel staff are great and very helpful. I think the porter abounded something, but when he told me there was a nearby grocery store - I found the food expensive for what it is.

The staff were extremely nice and friendly, which really makes a big difference! Lovely pool area with cabanas and restaurants. The Standard Queen room is quite small but it is clean. Some of the furniture (TV dresser, chest of drawers Bathroom) were a bit worn but all around it was not bad. You can leave the car park and valet costs $ 26 per night.

The problem I had was the noise. I was on the Olympic grand boulevard next to the hotel, so traffic was bothering me, but I could also hear the TV through walls and even a conversation between people in the room next to me! Not good.

I would stay here without any major problems I think, but I will definitely bring ear plugs.

Good Hotel, I recomended

My boyfriend and I were in late February  2009 at  Avalon Beverly Hills Hotels .

As i remember of the stay everything was  great there i havent been to La since then  and i only stay at this Hotel but  here is my opinion and observations that i rememered from the stay:

The service was fantastic from the start and not intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed, the rooms were very nice and the bed and excellent bathroom.

The employees were happy and were unobtrusive. True service - relaxed, positive and honest. The restaurant beside the pool was excellent, the food and service were very good. I'm trying to remember if I noticed anything negative ... well, this is now very fussy but a small continental breakfast would be a fine thing.

I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to Los Angeles. In terms of price, location, and service, it is very worthwhile, even compared to some of the lackluster hotels in downtown or Hollywood.

Choose Avalon

I was on LA in short term and i need it a Hotel that will be close to Rodeo Drive Blvd. And i Choose Avalon. Therefore, choosing this one of Beverly Hills Hotels was the right decision because i have a great stay there. Lovely small hotel with large rooms and friendly service. Lovely pool area. I just have the situation as a negative note, it is up to the Rodeo Drive walk 15 minutes. And there are not really many bars or restaurants in the area. Although I enjoyed the stay at the Avalon a lot when I came but once again to Los Angeles, then I would either be at The Standard or Mondrian on Sunsent Blvd. , just come in because of the location. Anyway, if you want to stay in Beverly Hills, then you just have to stay at this fabulous hotel.

Only Great Service

We stayed 5 nights at the Avalon to LA from there to explore.

First i will say  the positive things : The gentlemen from the valet service was very friendly and courteous. The welcome at reception was pleasant and the location of the hotel is fine. On Rodeo Drive is running about 10 minutes. Go to Sunset Boulevard and 45 minutes to Chinese Theater, there were then about 2 hours on foot. Unfortunately for us, but the negative aspects of this hotel quickly took the upper hand. Our room was not in the main building, but on the other side of the road. We were on the ground floor and had view from our room at the back alley and trash. The walls and ceilings are very thin so it's very clear and we was able to hear and follow every step. The entrance door to the room at the beverly hils hotels is so poorly adapted to the door frame, including a 2.5cm gap that is due to be up all night the light from the hallway and I think it has to be some privacy. In addition, I was disturbed that it is not on either side of the bed has a bedside table: it has only 2 table lamps, which made the room is very dark night, that the bathroom is no place has its towels hang after showering, the shower enclosure too short, so go anywhere water is splashed, the water faucet and sink installed is bad, making the water too much here and it flooded the bathroom only has a sliding door that does not close properly. I can still recommend that you should not buy the City Tours at the reception, where they more expensive hotel pickup is $ 16, so the Chinese theater.
